Chef Robert’s culinary career began early on, inspired by his mentor chefs and their respect for quality and tradition. After graduating from the Art Institute of California with an associate degree in Culinary Art, Robert sought opportunities to further develop his own creativity.
In 2021, Robert took over the kitchen at the Sushi Tomo, where he elevated the restaurant to its current state, continuing to update the menu seasonally and reflecting his most recent travels.
